Come along to a Kitchen Table Conversation!
Have your say at one of the following KTCs:
Korumburra Community Hub (Training Room 1): 10am Monday 22 April
Drouin Library: 10am Tuesday 23 April
Warragul: “Everything is Better With Wine”, 5.30pm Monday 29 April
We are running Kitchen Table Conversations (KTCs) across the electorate, to collect feedback from the community about the issues that are important in the lead up to the next election.
KTCs are a respectful group discussion, facilitated by a host, to discuss people’s views on various topics.
Feedback from KTCs will be collated into a report to both guide the endorsement of an independent candidate to represent our community, and also to be provided to all candidates running in the next federal election and they will be asked how they will address the identified issues should they be elected.
KTCs will focus on the following 3 questions:
-
What do you love about living in this region?
-
What are the qualities that you want in your federal elected representative?
-
What are the important federal and local issues that you would like addressed in the lead up to the next federal electorate, and what do you see as the solutions?
If you would like to come along to one of these events and have your say, please make sure you rsvp below.
If you have a suggestion of a different location or time to run a public KTC, please contact us.
Can you host a Kitchen Table Conversation?
Have your say and be part of the movement to ‘do politics differently'!
We are running a number of Kitchen Table Conversations across the electorate, to collect information about the issues that are important to our community in the lead up to the next election.
To gain a comprehensive overview, we need people from all parts and all demographics of the Monash community to help with Kitchen Table Conversations! make sure your voice is heard and organise to host a KTC!
You just need to get together around 4 - 10 friends, family, work colleagues or members of a community group for a couple of hours at your home, a cafe, pub or any other venue, to discuss how you want to be represented. A member of our team will come and help facilitate the conversation and take notes.
